Introduction:

The academic year 2021-22 brought forth an incredible opportunity for us, the teachers and students, as we embarked on a remarkable journey towards innovation and creativity. Inspired by the Atal Tinkering Lab Marathon, we formed the Avinya: Design, Creative, and Thinking Club, an amalgamation of various departments within our school. Little did we know that this collaboration would unlock the reservoir of boundless capabilities hidden within our students. As we submitted 34 projects created by our talented students, we realized that this was just the beginning of a transformative process. In this blog, we recount our experiences, share our learnings, and highlight the immense potential of our students.

Fostering Creativity and Inspiring Innovation:

When we first discussed the idea of participating in the Atal Tinkering Lab Marathon, we were eager to explore projects encompassing diverse subjects such as Social Inclusion, Health and Nutrition, Energy Transportation, and Sustainable Development. Our aim was to inspire and motivate our students to harness their design, creativity, and thinking skills. We firmly believed that all they needed was the right guidance and a touch of inspiration to unleash their unimaginable abilities.

The Journey Begins:

With great enthusiasm, we began our work, assigning responsibilities to each member of the Avinya: Club. The collaboration among teachers from different departments was a testament to effective coordination and teamwork. As we delved into the process, we were amazed by the immense talent and potential displayed by our students. Their innovative ideas and unique perspectives shown through as they poured their hearts into their projects. The Avinya: Club became a platform for nurturing these young minds and empowering them to believe in their capabilities.

In our pursuit of excellence, we received unwavering guidance and support from our principal, vice-principal, and the entire school administration. Their belief in our vision and commitment to fostering a culture of innovation played a vital role in our success. With their support, we embarked on this journey as a united front, leading to a truly transformative experience for our students.
