एक सुसंस्कृत और सभ्य समाज के निर्माण में पठन-पाठन और स्वाध्याय बहुत जरूरी है। इसके बिना मनुष्य जड़़वत् होता है। ज्ञान और शिक्षा के प्रसार के लिए पुस्तक और पुस्तकालय का महत्व सर्वविदित है क्योंकि ये ना सिर्फ ज्ञान बल्कि इतिहास के भी संरक्षक हैं। पुस्तकालय ज्ञान को सुरक्षित रखते हैं ताकि कुछ भी खो ना जाए ,ज्ञान को प्राप्य बनाते हैं ताकि कोई वंचित ना रहे।
आज जब हमारा जीवन ना जाने कितने अंधेरों से घिरा है, ऐसे में उजाले की जीत के लिए जरूरी है कि हम ‘ज्योति से ज्योति’ जलाने का अर्थ और मर्म समझें । मेरे लिए यह गर्व का विषय है कि भारतीय विद्या भवन विद्याश्रम, के. एम .मुंशी मार्ग, जयपुर ,इस मर्म को समझ कर नित नवीन और मौलिक प्रयास करता रहा है । विद्यालय के रूप में सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी के प्रति हमेशा सजग रहा है।
मुझे यह जानकर अत्यंत प्रसन्नता का अनुभव हो रहा है कि इसी कड़ी में भारतीय विद्या भवन विद्याश्रम, जयपुर अपने पुस्तकालय की वेबसाइट http://bvbjaipurkmlibrary.org आरंभ कर रहा है। आशा करता हूँ इस वेबसाइट के माध्यम से निश्चित रूप से हर ज्ञान -पिपासु लाभ उठा पाएगा। मैं, भारतीय विद्या भवन विद्याश्रम परिवार को अपनी शुभकामनाएँ प्रेषित करता हूँ ।इस वेबसाइट से सम्बद्ध मार्ग-दर्शक और समस्त कर्मियों को हार्दिक बधाई देता हूँ ।मुझे पूरी उम्मीद है कि भविष्य में भी भारतीय विद्या भवन विद्याश्रम, के.एम. मुंशी मार्ग, जयपुर शिक्षा और व्यक्तित्व निर्माण में इसी तरह महत्वपूर्ण और अग्रणी भूमिका निभाता रहेगा।

बौद्धिक विकास का द्वार पुस्तकालय
पुस्तकालय केवल विद्यार्थियों के लिए ही नहीं बल्कि समाज के प्रत्येक ज्ञान प्राप्त करने के इच्छुक व्यक्ति के लिए आवश्यक है। यह ना सिर्फ विकास का साधन बल्कि ऐसा समृद्ध झरना है, जो शिक्षा एवं संस्कृति के विस्तृत क्षेत्र का सिंचन करता है। बौद्धिक विकास के साथ-साथ रचनात्मक तथा सृजनात्मक कार्यों के लिए भी प्रेरित करता है। समाज के सर्वांगीण विकास में इसकी भूमिका संजीवनी बूटी सी ही रही है।
अत्यंत हर्ष का विषय है कि भारतीय विद्या भवन विद्याश्रम ,के. एम .मुंशी मार्ग, जयपुर अपने पुस्तकालय की वेबसाइट http://bvbjaipurkmlibrary.org को आरंभ करने के साथ सफलता की एक और नई ऊंचाई छूने जा रहा है ।इस मौलिक प्रयास के लिए विद्यालय का कुशल नेतृत्व , समस्त स्टाफ और वेबसाइट के कार्य को मूर्त रूप देने वाले सम्बद्ध सभी लोग बधाई के पात्र हैं। मैं, विद्यालय पुस्तकालय के अकूत भंडार और वृहद संकलन को देखकर रोमांचित हूँ कि इस नवीन वेबसाइट के माध्यम से विद्यालय की इस अनमोल धरोहर से अब मेरा भी साक्षात्कार हो पाएगा।ज्ञानार्जन के लिए उम्र की कोई सीमा नहीं होती है। आज की विषम परिस्थिति और व्यस्त जीवन में हर व्यक्ति के लिए पुस्तकालय तक पहुँच पाना संभव नहीं है और ना ही प्रत्येक विधा की पुस्तकें सुविधा से उपलब्ध हो पाती हैं। ऐसे में भारतीय विद्या भवन विद्याश्रम, के. एम. मुंशी मार्ग, जयपुर ने अपने पुस्तकालय के अनमोल संग्रह को वेबसाइट के माध्यम से जनमानस तक पहुंचाने का जो काम किया है वह सचमुच ही सराहनीय है ।मुझे आशा है कि ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोग इससे लाभ उठा सकेंगे।
मैं विद्यालय प्रबंधन की ओर से आश्वस्त कराना चाहता हूं कि भारतीय विद्या भवन विद्याश्रम, के.एम. मुंशी मार्ग ,जयपुर के पुस्तकों के इस कोष में नित -निरंतर वृद्धि होती रहेगी,इस पुनीत कार्य में नित -निरंतर प्रगति होती रहेगी ।

The two day Pustak Se – Vidhyashram Lit Fest at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vidyashram was a colossal display of intellectual engagement and literary pursuits, organized in the grand Maharana Pratap Auditorium. Experts from the field of writing and connoisseurs of quality literature shared their rich perspectives through panel discussions, interviews and monologues with the students.
Visit To Central Library
The students of the library club had the opportunity to visit The Dr. Radhakrishnan State Central Library on December 14, 2023. It is a significant hub of knowledge and cultural heritage, named after the renowned philosopher and India's second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. It stands as a beacon of learning and enlightenment in the heart of Jaipur. The visit proved to be a great experience for all the students with a tour of the entire library, they were enthralled to see the large collection of books in a multitude of languages. This experience provided the students with the functioning of such an enormous library, with a vast collection of books on every topic and subject.

Book Fair
The gathering of bibliophiles is always a grand occasion, and the three-day book fair organized by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Library, in collaboration with The Diksha Books, was no exception. From a wide array of topics, books of both Indian and international origins were prominently displayed, providing visitors with a rich and diverse literary experience. The students, in particular, relished the event, taking part in various engaging activities. The book fair not only facilitated the discovery of new writers and literature but also kindled a passion for learning and reading. The primary goal of organizing this book fair was to promote education, knowledge, and culture among students.
Jaipur literature festival
The Jaipur Literature Festival provided a highly enlightening and engaging experience, even for those who aren't avid readers. The activities encouraged students to look beyond the pictures and understand the depth the words conveyed. Listening to the speakers was a novel experience that made them appreciate the rich history and meaning behind a few simple words. Students greatly enjoyed participating in literary games and were rewarded with a book for answering a quiz correctly, as well as a one-year subscription to Tinkle magazine and free access to several stories. Overall, it was an incredibly enriching experience.
Story telling competition
"Stories have the ability to instill important values during a crucial formative period." The B.V.B Library organized a कहनी है कहानी, a storytelling competition for 7th graders, and the students put forth great effort to make it a success. The tales they shared were based on moral principles, and these young narrators utilized props to make their stories both compelling and expressive. Each story ended with a lesson that emphasized different aspects of life. The competition was judged based on factors such as memorization, voice projection, pronunciation, and expression.
Book-Talk Session by Dr. Rajeev Bagarhatta
School had the privilege of hosting a captivating book talk session in the school's auditorium featuring Dr. Rajeev Bagarhatta, a renowned cardiologist and author of the enlightening book, "Well Played From Here to Eternity." This event was organized to inspire and engage students, teachers, and parents in a thoughtful discussion on health, life, and the pursuit of well-being through Dr. Bagarhatta expertise and literary work. Dr. Bagarhatta delivered a compelling presentation that delved into the themes and insights from his book, "Well Played from Here to Eternity." He eloquently shared his inspiration for writing the book, weaving anecdotes from his medical practice and personal experiences into a thought-provoking narrative. Following the presentation, attendees had the opportunity to engage in a lively Q&A session with Dr. Bagarhatta. Students and teachers asked insightful questions about heart health, well-being, and the writing process, prompting meaningful discussions.

THIS AWARD IS GIVEN TO A STUDENT AT THE END OF THE YEAR. CRITERION OF THE SELECTION IS NOT ONLY BASED ON THE NUMBER OF BOOKS READ BY THE STUDENT BUT ALSO THE IMPACT OF LIBRARY AND LIBRARY CULTURE ON HIS PERSONALITY TO BE DECIDED BY THE AWARD COMMITTEE. APART FROM THE 'READER OF THE YEAR' AWARD, ONE CERTIFICATE IS ALSO AWARDED TO THE ENTHUSIASTIC READER.

The students of the Library club had the opportunity to visit Jawahar Kala Kendra to witness the puppet dramatization of Ravindra Nath Tagore's renowned story "Kabbuliwala", presented by Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal from Udaipur. This performance proved to be a source of immense entertainment and excitement for the students, providing them with a delightful visual experience. The art of puppetry, with its seamless blend of entertainment and information, demonstrated its literary beauty. Alongside drama, storytelling, drumming, and dance, puppetry stood as an art form capable of both teaching and persuading. The children found themselves completely immersed in the enchanting world of puppets.
